Concluding his speech, Barry Gibb offered a heartfelt tribute to his late brothers, stating: ‘Thank you all—this is the greatest honor of my life. I wouldn’t be standing here without my brothers. I pay tribute to Maurice, Robin, and Andy. We were bound not only by music, but by love and family
Each honoree was celebrated with powerful performances and heartfelt tributes. Gladys Knight honored Dionne Warwick with a moving rendition of “I Say a Little Prayer.” Barry Gibb received special recognition, including a stunning duet of “How Can You Mend a Broken Heart” with Olivia Newton-John and pre-recorded messages from music legends like Dolly Parton, Lionel Richie, Barbra Streisand, and Paul McCartney. Little Big Town performed “Lonely Days,” while Michael Bublé delivered both praise and song, and Ariana DeBose lit up the stage with a dynamic medley of Gibb’s greatest hits
President Joe Biden attended the event, which featured moments of lightheartedness, including a playful joke about the President’s age delivered by none other than Robert De Niro.
